The department is headed by Dr. S.J. Patel (a BHU alumnus) who has 30+ years of experience and has done more than 40,000 surgeries. The department offers surgical & medical interventions for diseases like appendicitis, colon polyps, jaundice, liver cirrhosis, ulcers, intestinal blockages, colitis, gallbladder, etc. All of these interventions are done using the latest technological equipment with the team being trained on advanced laparoscopic surgery. The department also offers the services on endoscopy with the latest endoscope.
