Critical Care Unit

The critical care unit is equipped with 6 ICU beds which are supervised by an anesthesiologist and trained nursing staff. The CCU unit is equipped with a separate nursing station and equipment(s) including ventilator support, piped oxygen support, pulse monitor, defibrillator, etc. The unit has been designed to deal with patients of trauma, strokes, cardiac arrest, post op surgical care, etc. The department is headed by senior anaesthetist and critical care specialist Dr Surender Srivastava (a BHU alumnus with over 20 years of experience).
