WORKING SINCE 1994

Upkar hospital has been serving the citizens of Eastern UP and adjoining states of MP, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh for more than 2 decades. Established in 1994 by Dr S J Patel & Dr Mamta Patel - the hospital has 100 beds and 10 departments. With over 100,000 surgeries having been performed under its roof, the hospital has created a name for itself among the masses. The hospital is centrally located in the city of Varanasi on the BHU road. It is a km. away from BHU hospital and 500m from the newly formed Tata Cancer Hospital.

Spread over a total floor area of 60,000 sq. ft, the hospital houses an OPD department, inhouse pharmacy and and a 24*7 functional IPD department supported by 2 operation theatres with state of the art anaesthesia station. The hospital is an ISO certified organisation.

The hospital has been set up with the vision of giving best in class treatment at an affordable cost while ensuring optimal patient health outcomes. The hospital is technologically equipped with the latest machines like C-arm, lithotripsy machine, colposcope while also having equipment like X-ray, Ultrasound,computerised pathology lab, gastroendoscopy, advanced laparoscopy equipment etc.

The hospital is supported by a team of 12+ doctors with educational pedigrees from institutes like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), PGI, KGMU, etc. Cumulatively, the team holds an experience of over 250,000 surgeries and treating more than 350,000 patients under their supervision. The team of doctors is equally supported by a team of paramedical staff, nurses and technicians. The nursing staff are trained at the hospital’s nursing institute which offers flagship courses of GNM, ANM and BSc Nursing.
